Welcome to Orientation 2024!

You’ve made it to LUMS - a very heartfelt congratulations to you! We are delighted to welcome you to your new home, filled with a diverse and collaborative community to learn from and grow with.

The Orientation is developed keeping you and your needs in mind so you can quickly find your place in this new world. With a mixture of exciting online and in person activities, we hope to acquaint you with your peers, knowledgeable faculty members, advisors and the beautiful LUMS campus. The informative sessions will help you navigate your LUMS journey better, in both academic and non-

academic domains. Orientation helps to inform your perspective, prepare you for the intellectual challenges to come, learn about essential university policies and form close ties with university support services officials as well as other members of your cohort. We are eager to meet you and hope you can fully benefit from this meaningful experience.

Mandatory Online Orientation in Mid August

By Mid August incoming students will be expected to attend the online orientation which will address various important topics. Please ensure you have internet access for these sessions.

Hostel / Residence Check-in Day, Sunday, August 25, 2024

Hostel/ Residence Check-in Day for incoming hostel students will be held on August 25, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Mandatory On-Campus Orientation between Monday, August 26, 2024 to Friday, August 30, 2024

The On Campus sessions will span from morning till evening. These sessions will inform you on essential policies, give you a chance to interact with peers, faculty, alumni and equip you with different skills to transition into your LUMS life.

Parent Focused Session, 26 August, 2024

Your parents are invited to a parent-focused session on August 26, and we would love if they can join us on campus if possible for them. Please note, if your parents are travelling with you for your hostel/residence check-in on August 25, they will need a place to stay overnight to attend this session the following morning. Please note that this is a first come first serve event and if the main hall reaches capacity you will be directed to an alternate hall. Parents who are unable to come to campus can attend this session via Zoom. Links for school specific welcome sessions are provided upon login on this website.
